Within the Safe Spaces for Women and Girls project in Al Hamama and Foz-Zuf areas in Jisr Ash Shugur countryside, the HRO teams implemented the Amal Initiative program, which aims to activate the capacities of adolescent girls in fragile contexts and provide them with reproductive health services, taking into account their healthcare needs and the specific barriers they encounter while accessing such services in health facilities, in addition to raising the community awareness, rectifying the misconceptions towards their issues.

During this initiative, HRO teams provided sessions of the third component “which is specified for healthcare service providers” by targeting the staff of Al Hamama Health Clinic in Hamama community, to highlight the important role of these entities in providing support and advocacy for adolescent girls and women.
