SARA is a technology-based approach to ensure the sustained access to self-training and self-awareness on the Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA)
The objective of SARA App was to:
1. Provide technology-based approach to ensure the sustained access to PSEA training and awareness-raising by HWs, community actors and members, even when face-to-face sessions become more restricted due to rapidly exacerbation COVID-19 situation worldwide, and NWS in particular.
2. Extend the reach to target population, wherever they are as the trends in displacement or movements evolve.
3. Help front-line HWs, community actors and members to define Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and understand the consequences for people in need and the seriousness of the problem. (SARA-Glossary)
4. Provide content with a variety of in-depth articles to read and resources with additional guidance for PSEA response programming. (SARA-Resources)
5. Raise capacities and awareness of HWs, community actors and members on PSEA prevention and response. (SARA-self-training)
